The Renaissance Club (RC) is an initiative of the NRM, which aims to reach out to young people in all secondary schools in Nigeria to vigorously promote awareness about the adverse effects of prevailing vices to which their young minds are vulnerable. At the RC meetings, vices such as examination malpractices, teenage pregnancy, teacher-student sexual harassment, cyber crime otherwise known as Yahoo! Yahoo! , Drug abuse, HIV-AIDS, truancy etc. are discussed exhaustively with a view to discouraging the pupils from indulging in such destructive perversions.

The club also assures the pupils that they have excellent opinions. We respect their opinions and also encourage them to

freely express their ideas so that they can be heard. They are building a shared sense of confidence and already contributing their own quota to the enduring values of the movement. With the support of public-spirited individuals and corporate bodies, the Renaissance Club now has active membership in both private and public secondary schools across the country where NRM has presence
